More than 60,000 American-made vintage vehicles from the 1940s and 1950s are still in full use in Cuba. Surviving a lack of spare parts and streets filled with pot holes, the old cars have been pressed into service as jitney cabs to fill the void left by Cuba’s badly deficient transportation system.
