
AFLA’s President’s Awards are given at the discretion of the elected president, for those who have gone above and beyond to advance AFLA and the corporate fleet management profession.

Sherry Calkins, Vice President, Connected Car at Geotab, is being recognized for her support of AFLA membership and educational initiatives. Sherry is always ready to volunteer to move AFLA initiatives forward in pursuit of our mission to support corporate fleets, including taking on tough issues through helping spread awareness and understanding of important issues impacting our industry. Sherry has served on the Conference, Digital Learning, Globalization and WIFM task forces this year.
Sue Fensky, Fleet Manager at Travelers, is being recognized for her continued insights provided to AFLA and her advocacy for the concerns of Fleet Mangers. She consistently steps up to support AFLA and new ideas, including highlighting areas the industry needs to focus on for continued improvement. Sue has served on the Conference task force and Corporate Fleet Sounding Board this year.
Lori Olson, Senior Customer Success Specialist at Geotab, is being recognized for the vigor she brings to her many volunteer roles within AFLA. Lori often brings forward new ideas or approaches to issues and initiatives, regularly volunteering to head or support new programs in the pursuit of the AFLA mission and vision. Her work on the WIFM Mentorship Program has been exceedingly impactful as the program continues to grow in both size and impact. Lori has served on the Conference, Membership and WIFM task forces and AFLA Board of Directors this year.
Phil Samuelson, Fleet & Capital Asset Manager at USIC Locating Services, LLC, is being recognized for his insights provided to AFLA on the needs, interests and concerns of Fleet Managers to help influence and grow AFLA programming. He readily volunteers when asked to assist in outreach, ideation and to provide feedback towards the growth of AFLA’s mission. Phil has served on the Sponsorship task force and Corporate Fleet Sounding Board this year.
