Prominent fleet professional Carolyn Edwards just joined Masterack, a leader in offering innovative steel, aluminum, and composite cargo management solutions.
After 29 years at LeasePlan USA, where she began as a maintenance administrator and rose to the position of senior vice president of client relations, Edwards looks forward to applying her knowledge of fleet in support of Masterack’s goals and continuing her involvement in the fleet industry.
Edwards is a founding member of Women in Fleet Management (WIFM), started in 2012, and has helped to plan and develop webinars focused on personal and professional development topics, a dedicated speaker session held in conjunction with the AFLA annual conference, and a year-round mentorship program. She has even traveled to Australia to present on the topic of “Women in Fleet” at the 2019 Australasian Fleet Conference.
“Throughout my fleet career, I have found tremendous value in being an active member of all of the fleet trade associations,” says Edwards. “Personally, and professionally, I have grown as a result of my active participation and the relationships I’ve developed.”
In her new position, Edwards will contribute to Masterack’s growth a leading manufacturer of upfit products. The company serves fleet servicing contractors, fleet management companies and their vocational fleet customers, utility construction, appliance repair, pest control, and insurance carriers across the US.
In the coming year, Masterack continues to drive the transformation of the rapidly expanding last-mile delivery and industrial service markets. The company offers a unique program to manage the upfitting of a mix of vans, box trucks, and utility trucks in one bundle and locally-built from more than 20 sites across the US and Canada.
