It’s a smooth tiny titan that packs a punch. Ford, treading on ground normally reserved for the likes of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, has won a prize for its 1-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine. It was named 2012 “International Engine of the Year” after voting cast by 76 journalists from 35 countries around the world.
