AT&T Adding Ford Transit Connect Electrics to Its Fleet

AT&T plans to have 15,000 alternative fuel vehicles in its fleet of 77,000 vehicles by 2018. The company just added two of the first Ford Transit Connect Electric vans, which will join up with 15 gasoline-powered Transit Connects that AT&T began piloting in 2009. Azure Dynamics is providing its patented Force Drive electric drivetrain for Transit Connect.
