Succession planning is a critical component of any corporate business continuity strategy. Many long tenured fleet professionals have spent years finetuning the management of their fleets. To protect that legacy, it is important to prepare the next generation to takeover.
This session, entitled Hiring and Inspiring the Next Generation of Fleet Professionals, will be moderated by Gary Bruce. Jen Pearson and Paul Kurrat will discuss strategies to prepare the next generation for success as fleet managers.
Gary Bruce is Associate Vice-President of Strategic Sales at Wheels – Canada. He’s been with Wheels for more than a decade, holding a variety of key Sales and Marketing roles in media, logistics, business process outsourcing and currently strategic fleet management.
Jen Pearson is Vice President of Client Success at Agile Fleet. She has more than a decade of leadership experience in fleet management and customer experience. She also has been deeply involved in the AFLA Mentorship Program.
Paul Kurrat is a professor at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario. He teaches a program called Supply Chain and Operations for Commercial Trucking and prepares dozens of graduates for careers in fleet. Paul’s message is a call to action for corporate Canada.
