ADESA Forecasts Growth of 1.7M Used- Vehicle Sales in 2005

ADESA’s Tom Kontos utilizes a complicated formula for his predictions in the company’s annual Global Remarketing report. Mr. Kontos predicts that the industry will sell 44.4 million used vehicles in 2005, up from the 42.7 million sold in 2004. Private sellers and franchised dealers will account for most of the gain over the next five years.
