Welcome to Fleet Management Weekly’s first issue of 2026.
While we rejoice in the promises of the New Year, we deeply mourn the loss of our dear friend and fleet industry icon, Mike Antich, who passed away December 12, 2025, following a short illness.
Mike Antich was one of the most influential and impactful journalists and innovators in the history of fleet. Among his many accolades and awards, Mike was inducted into the Fleet Hall of Fame in 2010 and the Global Fleet Hall of Fame in 2022. I will remember Mike for his kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm for our industry.
Ed Pierce said, “Mike Antich was more than an industry leader—he was a source of knowledge, inspiration, and friendship. Everything I’ve come to understand about the fleet industry, its people, and its global impact, I owe in large part to Mike’s generosity and guidance. I will deeply miss my friend.”
