UPS has increased its plans for liquefied natural gas trucks, pledging an investment of $50 million to build nine more LNG fueling stations for a total of 13, all to be operational by the end of 2014. The fueling network will support the operation of 1,000 UPS LNG tractors that will displace more than 24 million gallons of diesel fuel annually, the company said.
