TRUCE Software Secures Series B Funding

TRUCE® Software Secures Series B Funding

Investment accelerates growth of AI-driven video telematics and mobile workforce training platform for service industry vehicle fleets and drivers

TRUCE® Software announced the closing of its Series B funding round. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The round was led by Yttrium, with participation from other existing institutional investors, including Allomer Capital Group and New Amsterdam Growth Capital.

The company will use the new funding to scale go-to-market efforts for its recently launched product suite and expanding customer base across various field service industries. including professional pest management, landscape and lawn care, HVAC, healthcare and life sciences, energy, construction, facilities management, telecommunications, and roofing contractor markets.

For these industries, vehicles are rolling billboards and mobile technology-enabled offices that deliver valuable and essential services to millions of consumers. When an employee or vehicle is not available due to an at-fault accident, workplace incident, poor driving skills, or unaddressed training, the impact is immediate – lost productivity, increased insurance costs, customer disruption and brand damage.

TRUCE is built to change that equation.

For commercial field service fleets, TRUCE introduced a mobile-first AI video telematics platform that enables scalable, automated driver coaching at approximately half the cost of traditional systems.

By running on standard iOS and Android smartphones, the platform limits the need for costly specialized in-vehicle hardware while providing real-time video capture, telematics analysis, and AI-powered coaching.

This approach makes advanced video telematics practical for a broad range of light-duty fleets, which account for more than 70% of U.S. commercial vehicles.

For pest control operators, landscape contractors, lawn care professionals, HVAC technicians, roofing crews, and other field service companies that means:

  • Engineering control over devices and reduced device distraction
  • Fewer incidents that lead to costly claims and “nuclear” verdict exposure
  • Proactive visibility into risky driving habits before they turn into losses
  • Real-time driver road-facing and in-cab alerts
  • Individualized in-app scoring, gamification, leaderboard competition
  • Unique in-app performance coaching
  • Better documented, consistent driving performance and safety across growing teams

TRUCE goes beyond legacy telematics and driving, delivering AI-powered real-time alerts and personalized coaching to reinforce safe, high-performance driving habits. Outside the vehicle, it transitions into a jobsite visibility, communication, and incident management tool resulting in a higher performing and safer workforce, more predictable operating costs, and stronger long-term insurability.

Product Overview

TRUCE’S next-gen telematics platform is designed to modernize employee performance and safety management while driving and on the job site.

  • Mobile-first by design: AppStore/Playstore downloadable software that runs on standard iOS and Android smartphones
  • Edge-computing and AI-powered: Leverages mobile device–based AI processing and communication -along with an optional, easy-to-install AI dashcam – the platform delivers a disruptive approach to video and telematics.
  • Employee-centric and scalable: Delivers real-time road alerts and personalized performance insights automatically tied to each driver without manual reviews, disputes, or administrative burden.
  • In-app personalize coaching: Drivers receive clear, timely coaching directly in the app reinforcing good habits, skills competition, reducing uncertainty, and keeping them directly connected to leadership without micromanagement.
  • Complete workday: When driving ends, automatically creates jobsite sessions, providing live employee location visibility, and enabling location-based messaging and full operational and safety incident management.
  • Smarter economics: A platform that costs roughly half of traditional video telematics systems alone, while uniquely delivering continuous, people-centric insight whether employees are driving or working.

“The TRUCE Commercial team has launched a disruptive, employee-first performance and safety platform that transforms everyday iOS and Android devices into AI-powered edge computing tools supporting field employees throughout their workday,” said David Coleman, Head of Commercial Solutions. “We are disrupting the price and value of legacy vehicle-centric telematics and dashcam systems while executing a mission to protect drivers in real time and extend capability on the jobsite – shifting from vehicle-based tools to solutions built for people wherever work happens.”
