Merchants Fleet is proud to announce that Tom Coffey, Senior VP of Sales and Consulting has been inducted into the Fleet Hall of Fame by the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association.

Coffey is a fleet industry veteran who joined the Merchants team in 2011 as Senior VP of Fleet Sales & Consulting. He provides strategic oversight to the development of Merchants’ broad fleet client base, and leads a team of 45 fleet professionals who provide a broad range of consultative fleet optimization services for clients throughout the country. As a passionate advocate for innovation in fleet, Coffey is widely recognized for his leadership, and challenging people to think differently about the fleet industry’s role in making our nation more efficient, safe, and sustainable.
“During his 38 years in the fleet management industry, Tom has had a strategic influence on hundreds of client fleets around the country operating in a wide variety of industry segments,” said Mike Antich, editor of Automotive Fleet and emcee of the 2022 Fleet Hall of Fame induction ceremony. “Throughout his almost four decades of leadership, Tom has been a strategic catalyst in influencing fleet optimization, ranging from Six Sigma management to today’s electrification transition.”
