Telogis is Named Best Commercial Telematics Service Provider for 2015 at Telematics Update-Automotive

Telogis was honored as the Best Commercial Telematics Service Provider during an awards ceremony at the annual Telematics Update – Automotive (TU-Automotive) conference and exposition last week in Novi, Mich., highlighting the best companies in the connected car space.

The award was based on Telogis’ ongoing innovation and its strategic partnerships with leading automotive and equipment manufacturers to build its technologies into vehicles at the factory including: Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Isuzu, Hino (a Toyota Group Company) and Manitowoc Cranes. This marks the second consecutive year Telogis has been honored with the Best Commercial Telematics Service Provider award.

Telogis provides connected vehicle technologies for mobile enterprises that require advanced telematics, commercial navigation, route optimization, compliance and work order management applications all on one comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.

Telogis partner, Mack Trucks was also honored last night as the Best Commercial Vehicle Maker of the Year having impressed judges with its own innovations and implementation of Telogis’ built-in solutions including commercial navigation, compliance and fleet management applications that help improve uptime, safety and productivity for Mack customers.

“Telogis’ partnerships with leading automotive and equipment manufacturers allow us to build our technologies right into new commercial cars, trucks and equipment, driving rapid adoption of our entire platform of connected vehicle technologies,” said Kevin Moore, vice president, global OEM automotive sales, Telogis. “This is a great honor for Telogis, and by extension, all of our OEM partners that are helping to drive uptime, safety, cost savings and productivity for their own customers with these technologies.”

The TU-Automotive award marks the latest in a list of recent honors that include several Stevie Awards for Customer Service and its inclusion on the lists of Orange County’s Top Workplaces and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500.
