Ruth Alfson, CAFM, has been appointed to the position of Fleet Manager for the City of Cincinnati, Ohio. Alfson supervises a staff of some 50 people, located in several city garages throughout Cincinnati.
Alfson served as president of NAFA Fleet Management Association in 2015-2017. In 2018, Alfson was honored with NAFA’s Distinguished Service Award. In 2006, she was presented with NAFA’s Excellence in Education Award.
Alfson says, “There are several projects that are on the horizon, namely going out on RFP for in-house parts management and ramping up the City’s efforts to be a 100% Green Fleet by 2035.
I am looking forward to working with all of the wonderful people who make the City of Cincinnati a premier destination for shopping, food and the arts.”
