While attending the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance summer roundtable, Beggs heard analysts express less concern about the impact of rising gasoline prices. The steady slope up is smoother now, and the current level is way below the record level in 2008.

Average Segment Changes Down for Cars –$69 and Trucks –$55:
Greatest decline since week of Oct. 28, 2011 for cars and past five weeks for trucks.
At Same Time, the 21% of Adjustments that Were Increases Was Highest Increasing Percentage Over Past 7 Weeks:
If something is in more positive demand and value, it was reflected in a smaller increase.
