GE Capital Fleet Services just sold its 100,000th customer vehicle through its Remarketing by GE program. The transaction took place at Manheim Chicago, and the seller was Chicago-based Turner Acceptance Corp., a long-time customer in the program. Turning over remarketing to GE’s expertise in vehicle asset disposition has allowed his company to stay focused on its core business, said Jonathon Levin, president of Turner Acceptance Corp.
GE Capital Fleet Services also launched an expanded Remarketing by GE website for customers. The website content includes auction sale calendars, information on promotional events, customer testimonials, and a direct link to GE Capital Fleet Services’ YouTube channel.
Remarketing by GE started in 2007 and has enabled more than 300 customers – including credit unions, independent finance companies, banks, and corporate fleets – to remarket vehicles through GE Capital Fleet Services’ team.
“Remarketing can be a long, complicated process, and in today’s business environment, it’s vital for companies to ensure they obtain the maximum return on vehicles sold at auction.” said Paul Seger, vice president of Asset Remarketing at GE Capital Fleet Services.
