Pre-I&E NAFA Foundation Golf Tournament Supporting the Fleet Industry

The NAFA Foundation is kicking off NAFA Fleet Management Association’s 2019 Institute & Expo with a fun networking event – spring golf, in the Bluegrass State.

This is the inaugural Foundation Golf Outing, and it’s being held the day before I&E begins – on Sunday, April 14 – at the picturesque Harmony Landing Country Club.  Located northeast of Louisville in Goshen, Ky., it is in the heart of the most beautiful landscape that the Bluegrass State has to offer.

In addition to a great round of spring golf, the tournament will feature a full day of exciting events including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole in One Contests, as well as great networking opportunities.  Transportation will be provided to and from the course and the I&E conference hotels, and registration includes breakfast, lunch, contests and player’s gift.

This fundraising initiative will help grow the NAFA Foundation’s mission to strategically advance the fleet profession through supporting beneficial industry research, education, partnerships, and scholarships.  Over the past year, the NAFA Foundation has released to the fleet industry – free of charge:

  • A futuristic white paper, “The Mobility Revolution: A Primer for Fleet Managers,” well-positioning the fleet industry for its momentous evolution
  • An engaging webinar on that topic, also taking a deep-dive into mobility’s impact on fleet
  • The guidance-focused position paper, “Creating a More Productive Relationship Between Procurement and Fleet,” helping fleet professionals accomplish mutual goals
  • Inspiring the next generation of fleet leaders through the Willard DaSilva Student Scholarship

Proceeds from the tournament will go directly toward the Foundation’s mission to continue the forward-thinking efforts that not only inform and challenge the fleet industry but exemplify the best of what the fleet profession provides.

In addition to the Foundation Golf Outing, the Foundation has recently launched its “Cornerstones of Fleet” campaign, where donors can get exclusive benefits, such as unique social events, input on and presentations about future Foundation research, and more.
