
A new generation of patrol vehicles are here for the NC State Highway Patrol. On Friday, the Patrol unveiled the 2024 Mustang as its newest standard which drivers can expect to see out on the roads in the next few months. According to NCSHP, 25 of the Mustangs will serve as marked vehicles across the state.
“History and traditions are an important part of our Patrol Family and the use of Mustangs have their beginnings on the SHP in the 80’s and early 90’s,” the NCSHP said in a Friday announcement alongside a few glamour shots of the ‘stangs. NCSHP also address the price of the vehicles, saying it is “comparable to other vehicles currently deployed as part of the Patrol’s fleet.”
