February’s Subtle Surge: Fuel prices in the U.S. edged up to $3.12 this February, continuing the upward trend from January’s $3.06, yet staying below last year’s $3.16. Regionally, business mileage shows a retreat from January’s highs, hinting at strategic adjustments in corporate travel as companies navigate the early fiscal quarter.
Data from Motus shows that national fuel prices continued to rise to $3.12 in February 2025 compared to $3.06 in January, but still lower than February 2024 when pricing was at $3.16.
