Michael Ferreira Named Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing at Donlen

Donlen is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Ferreira to the role of Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Dr. Ferreira brings more than 30 years of international experience to the role, spanning over five continents, including nearly four years at Donlen, where he most recently served as Vice President of Sales for Strategic accounts, leading critical sales positioning, new business development and overall responsibility for marketing and our global partner network. Ferreira, who holds a doctoral degree in business management, will lead the commercial global sales and marketing strategy as Donlen continues its consistent year over year growth.

“I am delighted Michael is joining the Donlen senior leadership team,” said Donlen President Tom Callahan. “He has a deep knowledge of the global leasing and fleet management markets, mobility products, channel partnerships, and the ability to transform his subject matter expertise into profitable sales results. We look forward to seeing continued success from Michael in this new role.”

As Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Ferreira is responsible for further improving sales/cross-sales alignment and marketing communications, creating opportunities to optimize revenue from vertical sales channels across all market segments, and developing sales leadership talent across the organization. In addition to the recent incorporation of the Hertz Fleet Leasing sales team, he will also be responsible for Donlen’s international partnerships.

“Being appointed to this positon within this great company is an incredible honor,” said Ferreira. “I continue to gain a wealth of sales, marketing, and operational fleet management experience during my time at Donlen thus far, and I am excited to continue leading global sales and marketing initiatives to drive success for our customers.”

Before joining Donlen, Ferreira fulfilled various global sales and marketing leadership roles at Volkswagen AG, representing exclusive captive finance brands such as Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti Financial Services in Australasia, Brazil, Europe and North America. Prior to these roles, he represented GE Fleet Services in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), Avis RAC and Avis Fleet Services in Sub- Saharan Africa in various executive leadership capacities.

In addition to speaking English, Dutch, German and Portuguese, Dr. Ferreira holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing, a master’s degree in business administration and a doctoral degree in business management from Liverpool University (UK) and Swiss Management Business Schools.
