MetroGistics Acquires Metro Title Services

MetroGistics Holdings has announced the acquisition of Metro Title Services, based in Lenexa, Kansas, the national leader in title and registration services to the fleet industry and auto dealers.

Along with the acquisition earlier this year of AmeriFleet, this latest development expands MetroGistics’ reach, market share, processing power and technology solutions for fleet management companies and other clients.

MetroGistics is now better positioned as a one-stop shop offering world-class vehicle lifecycle services from OEM manufacture through service to remarketing and disposal.

Based in St. Louis, MetroGistics is a market leader in vehicle logistics, with a client base that includes OEM vehicle manufacturers, major dealership groups, and most of the country’s major rental car companies. AmeriFleet, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, has been North America’s top fleet logistics and services provider for almost 20 years.

Metro Title Services employs 60 individuals in the greater Kansas City area. The company is the acknowledged market leader in title, registration and aligned compliance services, with AmeriFleet as the second largest. Metro Title Services works with more than 2,200 government licensing jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada, and processes an average of 1,000 transactions daily, including titles and registrations, renewals, replacement credentials, repo/bonded/salvage titles, corrections and refunds.

“We recognized best-in-class vehicle compliance services as a major market need, and understand that bringing in a world-class provider like Metro Title Services would bring value to our clients and partners,” said William Billiter, CEO of MetroGistics Holdings. “Our message to clients is that we will involve you as we move to leverage all our organizational capabilities, and we’ll always do what’s best for you.”

“We are very excited to be joining the MetroGistics/AmeriFleet family,” said Eric Kaseff, vice president, Metro Title Services. “Our plan is to combine the best of our organizations’ compliance-services capabilities to optimize our combined strengths in processing capacity, production processes, market-leading technology, personnel, state relations, Canadian presence, and reputation in the OEM, dealer and aftermarket sectors.”

“Our clients in the fleet management, corporate and commercial fleet industries will see immediate benefits in the joining of two recognized industry leaders, each with 20-plus years of experience,” said John Norris, executive vice president of client services, AmeriFleet. “Beyond title and registration, we also plan for our combined operations to expand service offerings in the compliance arena to include International Registration Plan, recall tracking, title storage and management, DOT compliance, and more.”
