Merchants Fleet Earns Simultaneous Wins at the 2021 TITAN Business Awards

Merchants Fleet has announced simultaneous wins at the 2021 TITAN Business Awards, with Merchants Fleet awarded a Gold TITAN for Most Innovative Company of the Year and CEO Brendan P. Keegan taking home a Gold TITAN for Most Inspiring Leadership of the Year. The TITAN Business Awards recognizes companies and business professionals who go beyond the status quo to promote their strategy, culture, and teamwork to the world.

“Thanks to the remarkable leadership and innovation from Brendan and the Merchants team, our clients were able to stay operational throughout the worst of the pandemic, with the knowledge that Merchants would be there for them as a true business partner to keep them on the road and moving forward,” said Gary Singer, Chairman of the Board at Merchants Fleet. “It’s a tremendous honor to see the efforts of both Brendan and the team being acknowledged on an international level with these two TITAN awards, and I congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.”

For more than 50 years, Merchants has been providing highly customized fleet management and fleet leasing solutions to large businesses, mid-sized companies, governments, educational institutions, and more. As a nationwide fleet provider, Merchants is playing a crucial role in fleet electrification for clients across the country. With the launch of Electrify Fleet—an innovative ecosystem of OEM and infrastructure partners in collaboration with Merchants Fleet sustainability experts—Merchants is providing resources and insights to help clients make a seamless and cost-effective entry into fleet electrification. Merchants aims to have 50% of its mobility fleet portfolio electric by 2025, and 50% of its managed fleet portfolio fully electric by 2030.

Since joining Merchants as CEO in 2018, Brendan P. Keegan has implemented a visionary strategic plan that included launching 4 new business lines, securing $55 Million in growth financing from Bain Capital Credit, and relocating the corporate headquarters to a state-of-the-art 55,000 SF facility in Hooksett, NH. As a result of Brendan’s leadership over the past 3 years, Merchants has experienced explosive growth with over 150,000 vehicles managed for clients nationwide, and a spot on the Inc 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies List.

“We celebrate the remarkable Titan-like achievements of a wide range of organizations, from all industries, as well as their efforts to better both the workspace and company culture,” said Kenjo Ong, CEO of IAA. “Persevering through adversities and hardships, we aim to inspire and embolden all businesses, being the advocate of integrity for all corporate professionals worldwide.”

Over 650 entries were nominated from 28 countries for this year’s TITAN Awards. Each nomination was evaluated by the TITAN jury panel, comprised of distinguished professionals from the international business community. Winners were chosen based on the average scores, provided by the jury members. A complete list of 2021 TITAN award winners can be found at www.thetitanawards.com.Kenjo Ong, CEO of IAA.
