LeasePlan USA Welcomes Melissa Cook as New Region Sales Vice President, National Accounts

Cook becomes newest addition to LeasePlan sales team, to head the acquisition of new accounts in the Northwest and Midwest.

Following LeasePlan N.V. Corporation’s recent milestone of 1.5 million vehicles managed globally, LeasePlan USA continues its track of internal growth with the addition of Melissa Cook as region sales vice president, national accounts.

Cook comes to LeasePlan with more than 15 years of professional experience in the fleet industry. Some of her past roles include account manager for Enterprise Fleet Management, and sales account executive for ADP Dealer Services. Most recently she worked as district sales manager for Supreme Corporation.

In this new position serving the Northwest and Midwest, Cook will work with potential clients with up to 1,000 leased vehicles or reimbursed drivers on the road. It is her responsibility to ensure her clients are using the most up-to-date strategies and present solutions to help better manage their fleets.

“My ultimate goal is to provide cost-saving opportunities that reflect our universal promise to all of our clients: ‘It’s easier to leaseplan’,” said Cook.

Throughout her career, she continuously stood within the Top 10 Account Managers at Enterprise, and has a track record of transforming customer service scores from poor to above corporate average, and maintaining these scores year-after-year.

“Melissa is a great example of the kind of professional we look for here at LeasePlan: A results-driven, customer-focused individual with the skills and fleet management expertise that further our mission and vision for growth,” said Jon Toups, chief sales and marketing officer at LeasePlan USA. “We welcome her as the latest addition to our client acquisition team and look forward to celebrating her success.”
