Donlen is pleased to announce that Larry Knapp has joined their team as the Director of Remarketing. Remarketing is one of Donlen’s four core areas of fleet management in addition to Acquisitions, On-Road Management, and Analysis and Reporting – all of which focus on cost savings and efficiency.
Having held leadership positions at BMW Financial, UB Vehicle Leasing, Hertz and Mercedes-Benz Financial as well as Black Book, Larry brings an unmatched breadth and depth of experience in not only the remarketing and automotive finance industries but also in supporting organizations.
As Director of Remarketing, Larry’s role is an integral part of how Donlen delivers value and savings to customers. His mission is to grow the proactive and imaginative mindset we have in helping customers sell leased vehicles quickly and with ease. He says, “We have a real opportunity to reshape the lifecycle of the vehicle by creating additional channels for customers to sell leased vehicles.” And Larry has already made headway by launching RemarketingAdvantageTM – an alternative resale option for customers who want immediate cash.
Larry has a Bachelor of Finance and International Relations from Canisius College, a Masters of Economics from the University of Buffalo as well as an MBA from Canisius. He served in the Army Reserves, retiring at Lieutenant Colonel having completed tours of duty with European Command and in Southwest Asia.
