Katherine Vigneau Joins Matrix Consulting Group

Katherine Vigneau, MBA, CAFM has joined the Matrix Consulting Group, Ltd. to lead their fleet practice. She will also serve as a Director of MCG Consulting Solutions, their Canadian subsidiary, to promote and coordinate their expanding presence in Canada.

Lieutenant-Colonel (retired) Katherine Vigneau spent 26+ years in the Canadian Army holding various positions in logistics and transportation in Canada and abroad. From 1998 to 2001 she held the post of Fleet Manager for the Department of National Defence, responsible for policy oversight and management of a fleet of 32,000 vehicles. She also spent four years at the Joint Warfare Centre in Stavanger, Norway leading the Logistics training of NATO forces before her retirement in October 2010.

Following retirement, Katherine founded KMVS Fleet+ Consulting in order to work as a fleet and training consultant and has spent over ten successful years in business serving clients such as NATO, NAFA, the United Nations, the Canadian military and many other government and corporate organizations in Canada and around the world.

Well-known in the fleet industry across North America, Katherine is a sought-after speaker and trainer on topics ranging from leadership, change management, operational planning, distribution and supply chain, lifecycle cost analysis, fleet management and policy development. She has a regular column “Kate’s Corner” in Fleet Digest and also contributes to Fleet Solutions, Supply Professional, The Municipal and other fleet and logistics journals.

Katherine also represents Switzerland-based fleetCompetence Group in North America.

Katherine will work out of the newest Matrix office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She will be instrumental in fostering the growth of MCG Consulting Solutions, the Canadian subsidiary of the firm. The timing couldn’t be better as fleet and other government functional areas rebound from the impact of COVID and look for solutions to sustain operational excellence and promote efficiency.
