Often burdened with expanding their fleets, fleet managers can find relief in Model 1’s services. Model 1 handles the challenges of low inventory, delivery delays, and lack of communication, making it easier to get vehicles where they are needed, when they are needed. It also handles the complexities of vehicle registration, upfitting, and accessories, leaving you with a stress-free experience.

Model 1, with its extensive stock of commercial vehicles and parts, offers a level of convenience that fleet managers can appreciate. Regardless of your location in the country, you can find what you need. They provide financing, leasing, long-term rentals, trade-ins, and purchases, making vehicle acquisitions seamless. Service and warranty repairs are available at any Model 1 service location in the US, further adding to the convenience.

Whether expanding your fleet or starting from scratch, Model 1’s tailored solutions make the process easy and comfortable. We spoke with Sean Connelly, Vice President of Commercial Fleet Sales at Model 1, to learn more about how the company assists fleets in growing. Here’s how the conversation went:

Please provide an overview of Model 1’s role in the commercial vehicle industry.
Model 1 has been in business for over 40 years, providing fleet solutions to our customers. We take pride in our extensive inventory and vertically integrated upfitting and delivery approach for our clients.

Our goal as a commercial dealer is to have inventory readily available that can be delivered on demand to our client’s locations. We’re also a commercial upfit partner for our clients, providing vertically integrated solutions with Upfits Graphics Logistics and DMV services. By offering these services before delivery, we ensure that Model 1 is our clients’ go-to solution for vehicle delivery.

What are some of the biggest challenges fleet operators face today? How does Model 1 help them?
If you’re like many fleets, you’ve experienced long lead times, reduced visibility into production, and frustration in the delivery process. Model 1 solves that problem with a vertically integrated solution.

Our national locations have readily available inventory and provide vehicle upgrades, graphics, and accessories. We also control the logistics of your vehicle’s delivery to your location. We’ve done this for over 40 years, successfully providing our partners with these solutions daily.
