Adding to its significance, OffLease Reimagined was recently honored as the winner of the prestigious Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) Excellence in Innovation Award, which recognizes organizations in the equipment finance industry that are leading the way in delivering measurable improvements and business value through operational excellence, technology advancement, digital transformation, and a cultural commitment to continuous innovation. The traditional process of surrendering leased trucks has caused many challenges, including cumbersome paperwork, clerical errors, and extended delays, often stretching well beyond 90 days. These inefficiencies have historically led to significant financial burdens for organizations, sometimes costing millions in unnecessary lease payments.
As part of its pioneering data technology solutions, OffLease Reimagined is Fleet Advantage’s timely response to these challenges. This simple, web-based software digitizes and streamlines the entire lease surrender process, offering a new level of flexibility and control for fleet managers, maintenance technicians, and financial partners. Built as a cloud-first solution, the platform incorporates automation, AI-assisted workflows, and real-time notifications. By centralizing inspections, documentation, and repair estimates, OffLease Reimagined reduces the average surrender timeline from over 91 days to just 30 days, while decreasing clerical errors by more than 45%.
The platform has already demonstrated significant savings for major fleets. One customer managing over 5,000 trucks reduced average surrender timelines from 92 days to 28 days, saving more than $10 million in avoided lease extension charges during its first full cycle of use.
