Donlen Named a 2020 Company of the Year by Business Intelligence Group

Bannockburn, Ill., Nov. 10, 2020 – Donlen, a fleet management leader that develops innovative fleet technology solutions and offers a proactive, hands-on approach to customer service, announced today it received the Business Intelligence Group’s BIG Award for Business and was named a 2020 Company of the Year. The BIG Award for Business program offers companies, their products, their people, and their tactics a chance to be globally recognized by panels of business veterans and leaders.

“Our employees are working extremely hard in these dynamic times,” said Donlen President Tom Callahan. “Getting external recognition like this for their creativity, teamwork, tenacity, and engagement validates what we’ve always known – we have the best employees in the industry. On behalf of Donlen, we are humbled to be named a 2020 Company of the Year award winner.”

The BIG Award for Business rewards companies based on criteria such as uniqueness and ability to overcome adversity. Supply chain closures and travel restrictions impacted customers during the 2020 pandemic. Donlen worked collectively to help customers learn how to navigate the industry challenge by developing insightful trend reports, thought leadership webinars, and a robust content library for keeping drivers safe and productive. Donlen’s partnerships across various business areas, strategic consulting, customer experience, innovative technology driven by accurate, real-time data helped us adapt and fulfill our customers’ needs so they can keep their essential fleets running. Donlen’s ability to overcome global challenges over the last year is among the reasons the company was successful in winning this award.

“Accurate, real-time, and predictive data-driven insights guide productivity decisions, which are essential to keep fleets running efficiently and effectively,” said Dennis Straight, Donlen chief technology officer. “By guiding and recommending timely actions for fleet managers to take, we keep their essential products and people moving. It is an honor to be named a 2020 Company of the Year.”

According to Big Intelligence Group’s press release, organizations that are able to adapt to changing regulations, buying behaviors, and new revenue cycles are not only doing so but choosing to re-write the rules and accelerate change and that companies like Donlen are setting an inspirational example.

“We are so proud to reward Donlen for their outstanding 2020 achievements,” said Maria Jimenez, chief nomination officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “This year’s group of winners are clearly leading by example in the global business community.”
