Canadian wholesale prices were sluggish in September, based on market data from ADESA Canada and RVI Group used-car value indices. ADESA Canada saw its index fall “substantially” on a month-over-month basis and seasonally adjusted with the decline seen at 1.3%. The one segment that saw an increase for that month was compact SUVs, which increased 2.3%.
