Ford canceled a $1.6 billion factory in Mexico in 2017 after Trump called the plan an “absolute disgrace.” When Ford pledged to honor California’s tailpipe GHG limits even if the president rolls back the federal standard, Trump’s Department of Justice opened an anti-trust investigation.
