AT&T is working with Tesla Motors to bring its wireless network to Tesla’s plug-in electric connected cars. AT&T’s wireless network will power the car’s two-way vehicle communications, remote engine diagnostics, and infotainment features. Chris Penrose, senior vice president of emerging technologies for AT&T announced this news at the GigaOm Mobilize 2013 conference. Bringing total solutions into the space is something that’s being demanded, Penrose said.
