The inaugural winner of this new award will be announced on February 19, at the 2025 AFLA Canada Summit in Mississauga, ON. Many thanks to our award sponsor, Wheels, for helping AFLA highlight the exceptional accomplishments of these Canadian fleet professionals.

Our 2025 finalists are:
Anne Contala, Manager of Safety, Health Environment and Fleet, AstraZeneca Canada
As Manager of Safety, Health Environment and Fleet for AstraZeneca Canada, Anne Contala is a seasoned, dedicated, and passionate professional known for her wide-ranging subject matter expertise. During her more than 20 years in this role, Anne has a demonstrated the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all corporate levels, as well as collaborate with external consultants, contractors, third party service providers, suppliers, and government officials. Prior to her time at AstraZeneca Canada, Anne served as the first Manager of Occupational Hygiene for The Toronto Hospital/University Health Network. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Master of Health Science.
Sabrina Marion-Masse, Corporate Fleet Manager, UAP
As the Corporate Fleet Manager for UAP, Sabrina Marion-Massé oversees 2000 vehicles and 300 forklifts; she knows that technology is the key for well-managed fleet. Assertive and creative, Sabrina strongly believes that only through teamwork, strong vendor partnerships and a customer-centric approach can you deliver innovative solutions and achieve best-in-class fleet management ambitions. A relative newcomer to fleet, Sabrina has eight years of experience in fleet, but during that time, has made the types of aggressive changes that seasoned professionals envy. This has allowed her organization to set and surpass their goals and initiatives. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Logistics, Materials & Supply Chain Management from the University of Quebec in hand, Sabrina was convinced of the power of numbers in decision-making—she went on to complete an accounting certificate. With that, and a decade of prior experience in procurement and asset management, her goal was to enhance driver safety & satisfaction, deliver on her green initiatives while containing her best-in-class TCO.
