Theresa Belding, Exact Sciences, previously Forest Pharmaceuticals
As the 2011 awardee, Belding reduced costs by more than $5 million by optimizing vehicle replacement cycles, reducing vehicle offerings, managing daily rental spend, and decreasing fuel consumption by transitioning more drivers into four-cylinder models for a fleet of 2,950 vehicles at Forest Pharmaceuticals.
Lee Miller, Retired from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc.
As the 2012 awardee, Miller was recognized for achieving an excess of $6.5 million in cost-savings initiatives ($4 million of which was saved in 2011) and reduce CO2 emissions by re-evaluating the vehicle selector model for Boehringer Ingelheim’s fleet of 4,000 leased vehicles. Miller and her team also successfully deployed 700 additional vehicles in 2011.
Sue Miller, Geotab, previously McDonald’s Corp.
As the 1998 awardee, Miller was recognized for her achievements as then-fleet manager for McDonald’s Corp where she managed approximately 3,160 vehicles. Sue was further recognized for her achievements with the McDonald’s President’s Award (which recognizes the top 1% of global staff) and was a 2012 inductee to the Fleet Hall of Fame.
