AFLA Announces New Board Leaders

The Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) announced today that six corporate fleet veterans were elected to serve on their board of directors. Laura Jozwiak, from Wheels, will be serving as AFLA’s secretary, setting her up to be AFLA’s president in 2020.

“I am thrilled to have been elected by my peers throughout the fleet industry,” said Jozwiak. She continued, “I am looking forward to contributing, learning and growing with this great Fleet industry organization.”

Martin Kiel from Volkswagen was newly elected as the director of manufacturers and Mike Antich from Bobit Business Media was elected as the new director of strategy. Erin Gilchrist from Safelite Autoglass has been re-elected to serve as the director of fleet, Kristopher Bush from LeasePlan USA was re-elected as the director of fleet management companies position and Sherry Calkins from Geotab has been re-elected to the director at large position. AFLA’s new leaders will take office at the close of the AFLA 2018 Annual Conference, which runs October 1-3, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.

Based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, AFLA promotes growth, expansion and professionalism within the fleet industry by providing education, research, technical standards, representation and advancement of member interests. AFLA has more than 500 members representing all industry segments, including fleet managers and sourcing professionals, fleet management company professionals, auto manufacturers and dealers, remarketers, maintenance and repair companies and many other specialized suppliers. AFLA’s annual conference attracts more than 550 attendees. The organization also hosts educational webinars, publishes whitepapers and offers opportunities for members to network with key leaders throughout the fleet industry.
