MetroGistics has hired Lainey Strohmeyer, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, as director of human resources.
With more than 12 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, she is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute, and as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management.
Earlier this year MetroGistics Holdings and equity partner Tailwind Capital acquired AmeriFleet, North America’s top fleet logistics and services company. Strohmeyer will oversee human resources at both organizations as they integrate staff and operations.
Strohmeyer most recently served as director of human resources for Intelliteach, and has also worked at Kozeny & McCubbin, and Convergys. She is a member of the Human Resource Management Association of Greater Saint Louis.

Strohmeyer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication science from Truman State University, and a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Lindenwood University. She lives in University City with her husband Benjamin and a pug named Sadie. She is an active volunteer with the Humane Society of Missouri’s Kennel Enrichment program, and serves on the Steering Committee of the Humane Society of Missouri’s Women’s Leadership Council.
