Sofico Launches Careers Portal as Expansion Continues

Sofico

Global automotive finance, leasing, fleet and mobility management software provider, Sofico, is on a recruitment drive and has launched a new dedicated careers portal as it seeks to recruit the highly skilled personnel required to continue its ambitious five-year expansion plans, based on ongoing investment in people and innovation.

Since the start of 2020, the company has recruited 39 new staff members across all offices worldwide, with 10 new employees appointed in September alone, in Germany, the UK and Belgium.

This takes the total number employed across the company to a record 378, and follows a year of record sales in 2019 with a turnover of €43.6 million, up by more than 25% on the previous 12months.

New careers portal

Job seekers are seldom familiar with Sofico, its solutions and the niche market in which the company is a world leader. By launching a dedicated careers portal at https://careers.sofico.global/, Sofico offers potential employees a glimpse of life at the company. The site gives job hunters a concise explanation of the company’s activities and products, in layman’s terms, as well as an overview of vacancies that are currently available.

These include project managers, business consultants, software engineers, technical consultants and support staff at a number of locations, including Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands and the UK, with up to 25 posts currently available.

Vision 2020-2025 Program

Corinne Martens, HR Manager, said the new recruits would play a key role the company’s expansion plans outlined to employees in the Vision 2020-2025 program, aimed at maintaining a healthy growth of 15% per annum through ongoing investment in people and product development.

Martens said: “We need to continue to grow and develop our teams at our local offices across the globe by attracting talented, motivated people. To showcase our company and our jobs to the talent out there, we have now launched this separate career portal.“This will help us fulfill our strategic aims as we look to develop a learning organization which encourages people to grow in their job role through continuous learning and personal development,” she said.

Sofico operates in 27 countries globally, and last year completed implementations of its Miles contract management system in several new countries, including Romania, South Korea and Denmark. A local office approach for key markets, rather than centralizing operations, underpins its worldwide success, which has seen the opening of four new local offices in the last four years.
