Selling Beliefs

Selling is a lot like driving. People have beliefs that shape their behavior. We have beliefs about driving and beliefs about selling. When we have false beliefs people spin their wheels. They become busy with activity, but not productivity. Sound familiar?

As we discussed, beliefs are what we know to be true, however when we don’t have the facts, sometimes we adopt beliefs that are not true. What I call false beliefs. Since beliefs shape our behaviors and thoughts, when we have false beliefs, people internalize those false beliefs with the words, “I can’t.” When that happens, you limit your selling potential.

Let’s talk about another false belief that will limit your selling potential and success.

Belief #3
I can’t sell.

Is that true or false?
False!
That belief that you can’t sell is 100% false! I have trained hundreds of people to sell successfully. If that was true, there is no way they would be able to sell. How can you replace that false belief with a true belief?
Everyone can sell, once they learn how. Now, that is true!

Who do you know who has false beliefs about selling? Or doesn’t believe they can sell? What can you do to ignite your selling potential?

2. Know this, you can sell successfully, once you learn how!
3. Learn how to sell successfully
