Netradyne Uses Real-Time AI to Change the Way Fleets Think about Safety

By Fleet Management Weekly Staff

February 11, 2026

AI has helped fleets use data in new and exciting ways, from improving fuel efficiency to reducing accidents on the road. Because artificial intelligence can analyze vast amounts of data and identify actionable insights in seconds, it can help drivers change their behavior on the road before their trip is even over.

Adam Kahn, Netradyne

Netradyne is an AI-powered driver safety and fleet management solution that uses smart in-vehicle cameras and edge intelligence to analyze driver behavior in real time. Unlike a traditional dashcam, which records events on the road for later review, Netradyne’s system interprets events in real time to provide drivers with immediate feedback.

This can help them avoid accidents by reminding them to slow down, maintain a safe distance, or look out for upcoming stop signs. Netradyne also provides positive feedback, recognizing good driver behavior and providing an overall view of each driver’s performance.

To learn more about Netradyne’s technology and how its helping fleets become safer and more efficient, we spoke with Adam Kahn, Chief Marketing Officer at Netradyne.

What is Netradyne doing in the fleet safety and operations spaces?
Since its founding, Netradyne has been rooted in safety and driver advocacy. We’ve done that by developing systems that recognize drivers for their excellent driving performance. Our technology focuses on delivering as much context and clarity as possible. Drivers appreciate and trust our comprehensive and positive approach. Recently, we’ve extended that same driver-centric technology to the fleet management space, applying it to fuel, maintenance, tracking, and compliance. These systems have been around for a while, but our focus is on developing a truly integrated relationship with the driver to improve performance.

Tell me about the types and sizes of fleets that Netradyne serves.
We’re proud to offer our safety and performance solutions to almost any type of commercial fleet. This ranges from mom-and-pop shops with only a couple of vehicles to large enterprise accounts that transport products and people. Safety and fleet efficiency transcend almost every operation. It doesn’t matter whether you have three, thirty, or thirty thousand vehicles—every fleet manager cares equally about safety, recognition, and fleet performance.

What differentiates Netradyne from the competition?
Netradyne is unique in our approach to the market. Historically, fleet performance has been driven by data and reports. Our company has developed a differentiated approach for mobile workers. We directly engage drivers throughout the day, using recognition to reward them for what they’re doing right. We also provide greater context for what’s happening on the road. We don’t just pinpoint driving mistakes or risky behavior; we look at them alongside good driving behavior to get a complete picture of the driver. This has proven to be much more effective at delivering faster results, as well as lasting performance improvement.

Can you share a success story?
We have a customer in the Southwest that operates a couple of thousand tractor-trailers. In addition to safety, they prioritize fuel economy. In their drivers’ lounge, they display a report listing the drivers with the best fuel economy. They’ve found a direct correlation between safe and fuel-efficient driving. Since deploying our systems, they’ve seen a $2.5-3 million reduction in accident-related costs and an additional $3.5-4 million in fuel efficiency savings. The reason it works is that they’re transparent—the drivers can clearly see how their performance contributes to the company and directly affects their own pay.

What is next for Netradyne and its technology?
One of the things I’m most excited about at Netradyne is our use of edge intelligence. Edge intelligence is the processing of information directly on the device and delivering it in real time, which gives drivers immediate feedback on their performance. I like edge intelligence because it allows us to, as I say, “Act now and talk later.” We can work with the driver to immediately adjust or recognize their driving, then have a conversation about what went right or wrong later.

We’re investing heavily in edge intelligence. As the technology continues to evolve, it’ll soon incorporate additional elements that affect driving performance, such as road objects, micro-weather, and driving conditions. I’m very excited about how we’re adopting the technology and making it available to mobile workers.
