Four Recognized for Lifelong Commitment to Advancing the Profession
NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) is proud to announce the inaugural class of its newly launched NAFA Fellows Program, recognizing four outstanding professionals whose leadership, service and innovation have left a lasting impact on the fleet industry. The program is designed to spotlight individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to NAFA and the advancement of efficient, sustainable and safe fleets.
The first class of NAFA Fellows includes:

His leadership extends beyond NAFA to roles in NASUF, FleetCon, and Clean Cities Coalitions.
Richard Battersby, CAFM – Assistant Director, Oakland Public Works
• A public sector fleet leader with 35 years of experience, Battersby is a nationally recognized voice in fleet sustainability and alternative fuel strategies, and a longtime advocate for operational efficiency in government fleet management.
Oleg Cytowicz – Fleet Account Manager, Volvo Cars USA

“These four professionals are the embodiment of what it means to be a NAFA Fellow,” said Ray Brisby, CAFM, past NAFA Board President and Chair of the Fellows Selection Committee. “Their service to the association and the industry has created meaningful change—and their example will inspire the next generation of fleet leaders.”
The NAFA Fellows Program was launched to recognize members who have consistently demonstrated excellence, strategic leadership and a commitment to the future of the profession. Fellows are expected to remain engaged as mentors, authors, speakers and champions of NAFA’s initiatives.
