For a second consecutive year, NAFA will offer an opportunity for members to bolster their leadership skills by attending the 2022 NAFA Leadership Experience. The re-imagined four-module virtual interactive event will be conducted on June 30, July 14, July 28 and August 11. Entitled Expanding Influence, Energizing Innovation, the focus this year is on the capacity to be both innovative and influential, a mandatory skill set necessary to succeed in the current business climate.
The sessions are designed for both current and future NAFA leaders at all levels who want to make a bigger contribution to NAFA, while enhancing their company and career. The experience this year will be led by Alison French, a knowledgeable and experienced facilitator, trainer and coach, who has headed similar projects within the education, government, and private sectors for more than two decades.
Through virtual interactive sessions, you will:
• Learn to expand your mindset to embrace non-traditional thinking and foster the trust that is necessary to exercise influence.
• Experience how to shift your mindset from always working “IN” your business, to working “ON” it more regularly.
• Learn how to apply techniques to improve forward thinking skills, and how to practice influential leadership at all levels.
• Gain confidence in your short- and long-term strategic thinking abilities.
After each online session, participants will have an opportunity to interact in group conversation and activities inspired by the module. For those who make consistent contributions to the discussion there are rewards including points and prizes. The apex of the experience is the NAFA Legislative Summit in September, which takes place once all modules have been completed. There, participants may opt to demonstrate their learnings from the sessions by contributing to NAFA’s key mission of advocacy and legislation for the fleet industry.
