NAFA Announces 2017-2018 Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA), operating under new bylaws and election procedures adopted in 2016, recently elected the first slate of Officers under its new guidelines.

The new rules saw four new Directors elected to the Board in January, joining nine Directors whose terms were continuing.  Then, in February, the full Board of 13 Directors elected from among themselves NAFA’s new President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer.

NAFA is proud to announce the slate of Officers for the 2017-2018 term are:

  • President – Bryan Flansburg, CAFM®
  • Senior Vice President – Patti Earley, CAFM®
  • Vice President – Jeff Jeter
  • Secretary/Treasurer – David Hayward

Also on the NAFA Board of Directors are:

  • Ruth Alfson, CAFM® (Immediate Past President)
  • Patrick Barrett, CAFM®
  • Ray Brisby, CAFM®
  • Michael Cole
  • Robert Martines
  • Deanne Radke
  • Steve Saltzgiver, CAFS®
  • George Survant
  • Kathy Wellik, CAFM®

NAFA congratulates and thanks these outstanding individuals who will lead the Association during a period of unprecedented change for the fleet profession.

Bryan Flansburg, CAFM®, has more than 32 years of fleet experience, 28 of which were with the University of Colorado as the Director of Transportation Services. He has served terms for NAFA in both appointed and elected positions (local and national). He has also been a trusted fleet educator, presenting for NAFA webinars, seminars, and the Association’s annual conference, the Institute & Expo. He is the recipient of the 2015 Excellence in Education Award and the 2011 Larry Goill Memorial Award for Quality Fleet Management Ideas.

Patti Earley, CAFM®, has served NAFA in multiple capacities as a Committee leader and most recently as NAFA’s Treasurer. She is the 2011 recipient of NAFA’s Excellence in Education Award.

Jeff Jeter previously served as NAFA’s Vice President (2015-2016). He is an integral figure with the Old Dominion Chapter and is a past Chapter Chair.

David Hayward assumes the newly-combined position of Secretary/Treasurer. His previous position as International Vice President — which had oversight of NAFA’s global fleet efforts — has been absorbed into his new responsibilities.
