Merchants Fleet Earns Its Tenth Great Place To Work Certification™

Merchants Fleet®, the nation’s leader in innovative fleet solutions, is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the tenth time. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Merchants. This year, 84% of employees said it’s a great place To Work – 27 points higher than the average U.S. company.

Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.

“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Merchants Fleet stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”

“A great workplace is fundamental to delivering a great client experience,” said Matt Dyer, President & CEO of Merchants Fleet. “Our people are the driving force behind every solution we provide, every relationship we build and every outcome we deliver. As we continue advancing our Moving America vision, this recognition reflects the culture our team has created together and our ongoing commitment to investing in our people.”

“Being recognized once again as a Great Place To Work reflects the heart, hustle and people-first culture our employees continue to build every day,” said Alicia Hart, Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer at Merchants Fleet. “At Merchants, our team members consistently go above and beyond for our clients, communities and for one another, and that passion continues to drive our innovation and growth. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from employee feedback and experiences.”

Merchants continues to foster a people-first culture rooted in trust, empowerment and flexibility, helping employees feel supported both personally and professionally. Guided by its One Team, All Heart, All Hustle culture, the company remains committed to creating an environment where employees can grow, collaborate and make an impact. This year’s employee feedback highlighted the strength of that culture, with 94% of employees saying they can take time off when needed, 93% saying they felt welcome when joining the company, and 91% noting they are given a high level of responsibility in their roles. Additionally, 90% of employees said management is approachable and easy to talk to. Together, these results reflect Merchants’ ongoing commitment to creating an environment built on heart, hustle, collaboration, and trust.

According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
