Live from Las Vegas — the 2017 AFLA Conference!

We are filing from Las Vegas and the 2017 AFLA Conference which is enjoying a record-breaking attendance. Monday afternoon, AFLA president Michael Bieger teased the audience with an announcement of a new educational opportunity for fleet professionals: A Mini-MBA. Details of the program to debut in 2018 are expected before the end of the year.

In Safety & Risk this week, we learn that the rear-end collision is the most common type of automobile crash. The Driving Dynamics Safety Team says, “When you’re driving, the one space you can completely control is the distance from your vehicle to the vehicle in front of you.” So, how do you control that space – your own safety zone?

Enjoy the issue and check back with us at FleetManagementWeekly.com for daily updates!
