Katherine Vigneau Joins fleetcompetence Group as Partner for North America

The fleet expert will advise the Group’s clients in Canada and the United States

Due to the unchanged internationalization in the field of business mobility, there are more European companies that wish to receive highly qualified consulting services as customers of the fleetcompetence Group in North America as well. To meet this need, the international consulting company has joined forces with Katherine Vigneau to further grow its fleet and mobility consulting services in these markets.

Lieutenant-Colonel (retired) Katherine Vigneau spent 26+ years in the Canadian Army holding various positions in logistics and transportation in Canada and abroad. From 1998 to 2001 she held the post of Fleet Manager for the Department of National Defence, responsible for policy oversight and management of a fleet of 32,000 vehicles. Katherine retired from the military in October 2010 to open her own business, KMVS Fleet+ Consulting and has spent more than nine successful years in business serving clients such as NAFA, NATO, the United Nations, the Canadian military, and other government and corporate organizations. She is a regular columnist for Canada’s Fleet Digest where she writes about fleet and training and development issues. She is currently the Director of Professional Development for NAFA Fleet Management Association where she is responsible for content management of all NAFA education and certification programs.

“With her vast experience in fleet management in the North American markets and her exceptional international experience, Katherine offers an excellent combination of know-how for the fleetcompetence Group’s customers”, explains Thilo von Ulmenstein, Managing Partner of the company. “We are also pleased that Katherine’s activities in terms of training and certification for NAFA also mirror our own training programs in Europe. This is an excellent combination.”

Tobias Kern, also Managing Partner of the fleetcompetence Group, adds: “Katherine also has a clear focus on the trend from fleet to mobility. Here we see another interesting addition to our consulting service “Business Mobility of the Future”.

Fleetcompetence Group, as an independent advisor, supports corporations in designing economical and sustainable business mobility solutions. In a merging global economy, the key to success are the international teams of the Group, consisting of long-standing experts in their respective markets. They bring in-depth strategic industry and process know-how to deliver results that help our clients to be successful.
