Fleet Advantage Welcomes Todd Van Ahn As Remarketing Sales Manager

Fleet Advantage Welcomes Todd Van Ahn As Remarketing Sales Manager

Company Strengthens Asset Remarketing, Dealer Partnerships, and Valuation Expertise With Proven Industry Veteran

Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services, and life cycle cost management, announced the addition of Todd Van Ahn as Remarketing Sales Manager.

In his new role at Fleet Advantage, Van Ahn will oversee the company’s Remarketing Department, where he will manage inventory flow, determine asset shipment, and maintain key dealer relationships. He will be responsible for approving sales, advising on deal structures, and aligning pricing strategies, while also handling advertising initiatives and collaborating with the company’s Marketing Department to support remarketing efforts.

Van Ahn will also work closely with financial institutions through regular bank calls, supporting asset valuation discussions, and assisting Fleet Advantage’s Transaction Management Team with future forecasting. Additionally, he will analyze historical resale data and market trends to refine residual assumptions and strengthen asset valuation models, enhance remarketing programs by leveraging banking partnerships for broader distribution and higher resale opportunities, and provide executive leadership and financial partners with market outlooks, residual achievements, and performance results. His role will also include delivering residual value forecasting and market intelligence to banking partners, supporting lease structuring and effective risk management.

Van Ahn joins Fleet Advantage with more than 25 years of proven experience in the trucking and fleet management industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles overseeing multi-location sales teams while driving measurable growth in truck, trailer, heavy equipment, and service sales across freight, construction, and other industries.

The addition of Van Ahn comes as Francis Maloney, who recruited, hired, and trained Van Ahn, steps out of the Remarketing Sales Manager role to take on a sales position within the company. Maloney will continue to provide guidance and share his expertise with the Remarketing Department, ensuring a seamless transition and continued excellence in asset remarketing.

Most recently, Van Ahn served as Regional New & Used Sales Manager at Nextran Truck Centers, where he was recruited to turn around underperforming Mack and Volvo dealerships in Denver, Grand Junction, CO, and Cheyenne, WY. He successfully restored profitability by developing a uniform stock program, improving make-ready processes, and leveraging his deep OEM and dealer network relationships.

Previously, he was Regional Manager at Pride Truck Sales, where he built and managed new dealerships across multiple locations, including establishing a fully functioning Kansas City dealership in under 45 days. Earlier in his career, Van Ahn served in senior leadership roles with Summit Truck Group/Rush Truck Centers, Bruckner’s Truck Sales, MHC Kenworth, Worldwide Equipment, and Housby Auctions. His leadership consistently resulted in record-breaking sales performance, improved P&L outcomes, and long-term fleet customer relationships.

“We are excited to welcome Todd to our team and could not think of anyone more qualified to take on this role than him, as his extensive track record of driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams will provide tremendous value to our clients,” said Francis Maloney. “His proven leadership and industry expertise align perfectly with our mission to help organizations with transportation fleets maximize cost savings and achieve greater flexibility through innovative lifecycle management strategies.”

Van Ahn is well regarded throughout the trucking industry for his expertise in strategic sales planning, executive-level leadership, and OEM relationships. He is also a Class A CDL holder, allowing him to bring a unique operational perspective to clients and team members alike. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University.
