Element Fleet Launches ‘Arc by Element’ to Simplify Clients’ Transition to EVs

In an effort to assist clients in navigating and simplifying the challenging transition from internal combustion engines (ICE) to Electric Vehicles (EVs), Element Fleet Management has introduced Arc by Element.

This new EV solution bolsters Element’s already robust roster of fleet management services.

Element views the offering as a one-stop comprehensive EV throughline, allowing concise management of mixed ICE/EV fleets, with a focus on business needs.

“With the prerequisites for wide-scale EV adoption by commercial vehicle fleets looming on the horizon — the right vehicle types at the right price points, improved access to charging infrastructure — and with organizational ESG mandates increasingly targeting sustainability, we have seen a significant increase in client interest in moving their fleets “from grey to green” through EV adoption,” said Jay Forbes, President and CEO of Element. “Arc by Element has been designed to simplify our clients’ transition through fleet electrification and, in doing so, de-risk the advancement of a critical component of their ESG principles and business strategy.”

Element’s dedication to EV fleet integration is echoed by clients. “We recognize that the electrification of transportation is critical in the journey to a net-zero future and are proud to partner with Element as we begin transitioning our North American fleet to electric vehicles,” said Ashley Horvat, Vice President eMobility North America, Schneider Electric. “By embracing electric vehicles for our Sales and Service Teams, we can maintain our commitments to our customers, while furthering our sustainability goals.”

Among Arc by Element’s key components is direct involvement in the development and planning of transitioning fleets, whether domestically or abroad, including the constantly evolving world of EV incentives.

Of equal importance to Element is the advancement and integration of EV infrastructure, including charging solutions at home, in the workplace or in public. To facilitate this, Element is collaborating with charging industry leaders such as Qmerit, ChargePoint, WEX and Enel X.

Among other critical steps, pilot and pre-pilot discussions are already taking place in North America to develop plans using Arc by Element services, as well as honing solutions for driver reimbursement, training, change management and stakeholder engagement.
