Derive Systems Chooses Meineke as Installer of Fuel-Saving Software for Fleets

Derive Systems’ fleet division Derive Efficiency, a leading developer of engine software to save fuel and increase safety, announced today it has chosen Meineke as its nationwide partner to install its efficiency and safety software for fleets across the U.S.

By installing Derive Efficiency’s software at any of its 900 service locations across the U.S., Meineke will provide a simple and cost-effective way for fleets to improve safety, save fuel, and reduce emissions. Derive Efficiency’s engine calibration technology can reduce fuel usage by 10 percent, while reducing carbon emissions by up to 16 percent.

“This partnership will help us better service our customers across the U.S., as well as help introduce us to fleets that have yet to experience the cost-saving capabilities of our software,” said Tom Kanewske, Senior Director for Business Development, Derive Systems. “Derive is enthusiastic about partnering with Meineke to provide fleets a simple and straightforward way to save money on fuel, getting the most value out of each vehicle.”

Compared to other fuel solutions, Derive Efficiency has the greatest return on investment thanks to its innovative technology. A technician can easily install Derive’s solution through the OBD-II port in a quick 10 minutes. Derive Efficiency’s engine calibration technology delivers between 6 and 12 percent total fuel savings for less than few hundred dollars per vehicle, making it a true stand-out from the competition.

“Derive Systems’ goal of improving the efficiency and safety of fleet vehicles falls in line with our mission of providing reliable and convenient service to all of our customers,” said Danny Rivera, President, Meineke. “We’re looking forward to working with Derive and fleets across the country to help them achieve true performance efficiency.”
