Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is confident a coalition of 22 states will agree to buy as many as 10,000 compressed natural gas vehicle, if made by US automakers. Ordering up to 10,000 CNG vehicles a years should be enough to move an assembly line, he said. Costs can be cut by building them at an assembly plant instead of converting them, he said.
