Coast Releases Integration with Fleetio to Allow Businesses to Optimize Their Fuel Spend

Coast, a financial technology company that offers a Visa fleet and fuel card and a cutting edge expense management platform, announces a new integration with Fleetio.

Now fleet-operating businesses of any size can unlock powerful insights into their operations and expenses through this integration.

“We are excited to launch our very first integration with Fleetio, which shares a common mission: simplifying fleet management and helping businesses optimize their fleet costs, thanks to customer-centric and modern software solutions. The integration provides greater visibility into our customers’ fuel expenses and streamlines their fleet operations,” said Daniel Simon, CEO of Coast. “Coast becomes even more powerful when it’s integrated into our customers’ existing suite of tools.”

Transaction data on fuel expenses from Coast will seamlessly populate into the Fleetio experience, simplifying operations for management, allowing for a better understanding of their fuel expenses.

The integration enables Coast’s fuel transactions to be automatically imported into Fleetio as soon as they settle. Users can analyze the fuel consumption of their vehicles at a glance, and gain insights on how fuel contributes to their overall fleet costs. With metrics such as miles per gallon or cost per mile, businesses can optimize their fleet usage and fuel efficiency to reduce total cost of ownership. In addition, Fleetio’s vehicle roster will sync daily with the Coast spend management platform, allowing users to save time by avoiding manual entry.

Fleetio customers looking to use Coast will be able to onboard vehicles in minutes, regardless of how they have purchased fuel in the past.

“Adding the Coast fuel card integration to Fleetio’s growing app directory opens the door for more opportunities around fuel insights as we continue to provide seamless access to fleet data in one place. With fuel being one of the highest costs for a fleet, having a comprehensive look at overall fuel spending is vital to improving fleet operations for our customers,” says Matt Chapman, Product Partnership Manager at Fleetio.
