We read an article in the New York Times the other day and were staggered by the implications posed by the United Nations: “Nations have so dragged their feet in battling climate change that the situation has grown critical and the risk of severe economic disruption is rising, according to a draft United Nations report. Another 15 years of failure to limit carbon emissions could make the problem virtually impossible to solve with current technologies, experts found.”
Here’s a question for the climate change deniers within the US Congress who point to the Polar Vortex as further proof of their stance: What if the 97% of climate change scientists arguing for the planet are right? And how do the deniers defend their position to their children, their grandchildren?
