During the second-best month in the history of certified pre-owned vehicles, several automakers had a very strong sales month. Honda and Mini saw their best months ever, and the market saw 162,165 certified units sold industry-wide in June, an 8.9% increase over a year ago.
It’s been a strong year overall, as well, as CPO sales are taking off, with more consumers being sold on the value of CPOs over non-CPO used vehicles. Through June, there have been 917,004 certified units sold versus 868,358 during the first six months of 2011.
